Hotfix: TIILT 2 Freezes in SMS application | 12.17.2009 This Hotfix when installed prevents the device from becoming sluggish and/or freezing in the SMS application on the device. This is NOT a ROM update and you will not lose your data. Also, these files will survive a Hard Reset so they need only to be installed once. On Your PC: 1. Download the “Hotfix: TILT 2 Freezes in SMS application” file and save it to your PC. 2. Connect your device to your PC via the USB cable. 3. Once a connection has been established between your PC and your Sync Software: In ActiveSync (Win XP or earlier): 1. Select Explore. 2. Double-click on your device listing. 3. Drag and drop the “Hotfix: TILT 2 Freezes in SMS application” file from your PC onto your device. In Windows Mobile Device Center (Vista/Windows 7): 1. Select File Management>Browse the contents of your device. 2. Double-click on your device listing. 3. Drag and drop the “Hotfix: TILT 2 Freezes in SMS application” file from your PC to your device. On your device: 1. Go to Start>Settings>Tools>File Explorer. 2. Locate the “Hotfix: TILT 2 Freezes in SMS application” file you just copied to your device and tap on it to start the installation process. 3. Follow the onscreen instructions. 4. Once the installation is complete, the device will reboot and be ready for use.
