Official Android 4.1.2 Firmware Update for Samsung SGH-i317 Galaxy Note II LTE On Sept 11, 2013, a software update for the Samsung Galaxy Note II (i317) will be available to AT&T customers. - This update is being pushed to customers via firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) using Wi-Fi. This update is only available for devices that have been upgraded to Android 4.1.2. - To verify the updated software version, go to Settings > About device. The 165MB software update includes updates to Google applications and AT&T preloaded applications. What to expect after the update: Although there should be no impacts to settings or data, we recommend that you back up your media files to an SD card, a PC, or using a favorite application (from the Play Store), prior to upgrading the software.
